Dragon’s Cauldron is dedicated to my homebrewing hobby.  I started homebrewing in 1995.  I started with extract brewing and worked up to all-grain brewing.  I have tried various ways of brewing from using a cooler as a mash tun to direct fire propane burners, to RIMS (recirculating infusion mash system), to now using an all-electric HERMS (heat exchange recirculating mash system) system controlled by a Raspberry Pi.  This site shows off my setup, what I have on draft currently, what I have fermenting, and other interesting aspects of my hobby.  Thanks for visiting!

If you are wondering how I came up with the name, in college my nickname was “Dragon”.  Going with the theme of dragons and the “magic” of beer making, I figured a dragon would use a cauldron to make his beer.  Thus, the name.
